金鶯希望 能挖掘到另一個陳偉殷

大聯盟自由球員市場進入出價階段，陳偉殷獲得金鶯合格報價，有分析預測，他應該會拒絕，以便爭取複數年合約。
陳偉殷是金鶯總經理（杜奎特）加入球團後，簽下的第二位重要投手，第一個是（和田毅），2011年12月，金鶯用兩年815萬美元，簽下和田毅，一個月之後，又簽了陳偉殷。當時，和田毅的名氣，遠遠高於陳偉殷，不過，最後和田毅從未代表金鶯出戰，倒是陳偉殷表現相當出色。
和田毅加盟金鶯的幾個月之後，就動了韌帶重建術，恢復遙遙無期，金鶯最後放棄了他，和田毅後來轉往小熊，不過今年，他沒有被小熊納入季後賽名單，他決定返回日本。
從和田毅和陳偉殷之後，金鶯就沒有再從日本挖掘到有潛力的選手，分析說，基於陳偉殷帶給金鶯的良好經驗，球團應該不會放棄再嘗試從東亞發掘下一個陳偉殷。（圖片取材自網路）
